Education: Went to school, don't remember most of it. What I did learn was this; do the right thing, always, every time. Hire people smarter than myself, empower them, treat them with respect.

Professional credentials: As a young man, I learned how to fail and from that, learned how to succeed, mostly by listening to the winners, the old guys that knew the answers.

Work experience :Started when I was 10 years old for 25 cents an hour. Was blessed to be a founding partner of a couple of great companies, one became a $65 million dollar company and still growing. Roy LaBounty taught me a lot, as did my father about what it means to never give up. What it means to have the faith to lay it all on the line.

Personal interests: too many - skiing, golf, cars, motorcycling, boats, learning, loving life.

Growing up: Played Little League and then went to my Dad and Grandpa’s small town Chrysler dealership in Two Harbors, Minnesota. Went home at night late when my Dad did. Had a great childhood. Tried everything I could think of and finally figured out that my parents were right about most stuff.

Family: I love them and….they seem to tolerate me. Adult son and daughter who are part of Exodus, whom I couldn’t be more proud of. Grandkids that make me smile. A mid-teen son who is still a work in process and a wife that I really like. Parents who stood by me and brothers and a sister that I’m close to. I’m a lucky guy.
