Durability and Reliability

  • Our engineers have decades of experience and a track-record for excellence
  • We take a conservative approach and go beyond the standards - such as using pins and bushings that are 15% larger than the SAE standard and then we thread them to prevent flex typically caused by side loading
  • All structural components, including the boom and stick are made from high grade structural steel
  • 4 independent wheel drives provide true all-wheel-drive and eliminates exposed components under the machine
  • Our engine is designed to handle up to 425 horsepower but we are calling for 275
  • The engine cooling system is oversized by 18%
  • The hydraulic system is designed to run 25% cooler than typical machines
  • We developed systems that are more efficient, which uses less power, which places less stress and wear on components, which leads to longer durability
  • We perform extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA testing) and strain gauge testing on all major structural components
  • We use Bosch Rexroth for our main pumps and swing pump
  • Cooling fans are driven by Vane pumps which are longer lasting and more fuel efficient than gear pumps

  • Error codes and pressure spikes are stored in the system

  • Regenerative hydraulics feeds power back into the system during boom down functions
